Referral Program Terms and Conditions: Non-Console Referral Program

Introduction

Your participation in the Non-Console Referral Program is voluntary, free to you, and subject to the following Terms and Conditions. The intent of the Referral Program is to reward you for sharing the BILL service with others who you believe will benefit from joining the BILL platform. By sharing your unique invite link, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.  If you do not agree, do not share your invite link.  Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in withholding of any payout or, in cases of suspected fraud, determined in BILL’s sole discretion subject to applicable law, account closure or suspension.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Referrer eligibility: to participate in the Non-Console Referral Program, you, as a referrer, must:
    1. reside in the United States, including its territories; and
    2. refer to BILL a Verified (as defined below) organization or entity (your “Referral(s)”) that successfully signs up for a BILL AP/AR account under the Essentials, Team, Corporate, or Enterprise price plans, or which has the Spend & Expense credit application approved and a first transaction completed.
  2. Referral verification: in order to be eligible for a referral payout, your Referral must:
    1. be a new paid subscriber to the BILL Service whose account is not linked to your BILL Console account;
    2. not have been a paid subscriber to the BILL Service (as defined in the BILL Terms of Service) in the 12 month period prior to becoming a paid subscriber to the BILL Service through your such referral; or
    3. have not become a subscriber to the BILL Service through a separate sales or marketing channel, which includes, but is not limited to separate BILL partnership or customer programs.
      1. If BILL determines, in its sole discretion, that Your Referrals cannot be verified (see section above for details on referral verification), BILL may revoke your ability to submit any additional referrals to the program.
  3. Eligibility Determination: all decisions about whether you meet the applicable Participation Requirements listed above or whether Your Referrals can be verified will be made by BILL, in its sole discretion, subject to applicable law.

  4. Payout*:
    1. Subject to the conditions below, if Your Referral becomes an approved BILL AP/AR or Spend & Expense customer, you will receive a one-time payment of $500 (less any applicable payment provider processing fees), which you will receive from PartnerStack on our behalf.
    2. If your Referral signs up for AP and Spend & Expense (and all requirements are met for both), you will receive the AP/AR payout as well as the applicable Spend & Expense payment (totaling $1000).
    3. In order to receive payment you must claim your Partnerstack partner account, enter your preferred payment method, and upload applicable tax documentation.
  5. Promotional offers: From time to time, BILL may offer promotional incentives that are greater than, or different from, the above referral payments. For any such promotional offer, the details and terms of the offer will be included in the offer and those terms, along with these terms, will govern the promotion. In the event of conflict between the promotional offer terms and these terms, the promotional offer terms will apply for that promotion only.

  6. Restrictions: participants are prohibited from engaging in the following conduct:
    1. Sharing or advertising your unique referral link on any website (other than your own company or firm site), including but not limited to websites that contain or promote illegal or inappropriate activities;
    2. Sharing your unique referral link on social media or any website other than your own company or firm site;
    3. Undertaking (or attempting to undertake) any self-referrals, fraudulent transactions or other actions inconsistent with the stated intent of the program;
    4. Using the BILL brand or marks or promoting the BILL services in a way that disparages or otherwise reflects poorly on the reputation of BILL;
    5. Using the BILL marks for any purpose other than promoting BILL and its products and services;
    6. Changing, altering, creating variations of the BILL trademarks.
    BILL may suspend or terminate your participation in the referral program if, in our sole judgment, you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any of these terms, or if BILL determines, in its sole discretion, that you have violated the BILL Terms of Service.

  7. Personal information: personal Information provided in connection with this program will be used in accordance with our Privacy Notice and our service provider's Privacy Policy.

  8. Reservation of rights: BILL reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the terms and conditions of this program at any time, subject to applicable law.
