Growing up, I was immersed in entrepreneurship through my family's auto wreck yard business. From a young age, I was surrounded by the hustle and bustle of running a small business, and it deeply shaped my entrepreneurial spirit and passion for supporting small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

My family's business was more than just a place to buy and sell spare car parts—it was a legacy built by my grandfather and his brothers, now carried on by my uncles and cousins. Hearing stories of their journey from the South to California, where they established their businesses, instilled a deep appreciation for hard work, resilience, and innovation.

Lessons in resilience and adaptability

While I never had an official role in the business, every visit was an opportunity to learn and contribute. Whether answering phones, riding forklifts, or seeking advice on car troubles, I absorbed invaluable lessons about customer service, problem-solving, and the importance of family support.

As I grew older, I witnessed the highs and lows of entrepreneurship firsthand. My family faced numerous challenges, from navigating city regulations to adapting to new technology. Their ability to embrace change and continuously seek improvement taught me the importance of resilience and adaptability—traits that are crucial for any business owner.
